Due to popular demand, I am providing the world with more actual transcripts of conversations we have in our house with our little people. I apologize that it takes me so long to get these out, but there is something of a weeding process, because while the majority of what the boys say is funny, it doesn't often transcribe well, due to a fair amount of gibberish and He-man references. So, thank you for your patience, and now for your reward:
Ben: Sam bit me on my finger.
Katie: Did you bite Ben on the finger?
Sam: (nods)
Katie: That is not okay! You need to say you're sorry.
Sam: Sorry, Ben. (Goes in for a hug)
Ben: (who is wearing a firefighter hat) No! I'm a firefighter!
Sam: Sorry, firefighter!
(They hug)
Ben: It's okay.

Ben: Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!
(I hear a sound in the other room)
Katie: Hey, what's that sound?
Ben: Me!

This conversation is between Sam and Sam talking as the spoon.
Spoon Sam: Hey Sam?
Sam: What Spoon?
Spoon Sam: It's gonna get me!
Sam: (starts to sing)
Katie: Whose gonna get the spoon?
Sam: Cereal!

Ben: We're having a party Mommy! Do you want some cake?
Katie: Yes, please! (Gobbling sounds)
Ben: Jesus is coming to our party!
Katie: Oh is Jesus coming?
Ben: Yes, he's gonna save the day!

This one needs a small introduction. Zach loves doing the "hey, what's this in your ear?" trick where he pulls something out of the boys ears and occasionally nose. The boys think he is the most magical and amazing Daddy in the world.
Ben: Hey, Daddy!
Zach: What, Ben?
Ben: There's something in my ear!
Zach: Oh? What's in your ear?
Ben: Candy!!

those are so awesome katie,.. hahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha. I think that was 2 or 3 has for each convo. now multiply that by 10 and you get about how much those make me laugh. he. :)
can't wait to campout with the boys!
Oh man, those kids are funny! Jesus has stopped by our place a few times too. He won the Piston Cup a few weeks ago. After Jane's first day of primary, she started singing "Hea-ven-ly Father, was a jolly happy soul...hmmm...hmmm...hmmm...button nose and two eyes made out of cold." Keep the quotes coming.
i love any conversation they boys have with inanimate objects. hee. lar. ee. ous!
Zach used to talk to inanimate objects all the time. We didn't worry too much until they started talking back. :-0 Can't wait until we see you next week!
Love the Sam pic at the top - I'm supposing he's a hybrid of Batman (the mask), Superman (the red cape), Sam (the "S" on his shirt), and possibly some mud creature yet to be popularized as a superhero by a blockbuster movie.
i love how inanimate objects come to life, and your overall introduction cracked me up. a great reward. glad to see Jesus is making the rounds.
mud creature? perhaps the creature from the black lagoon,.. I don't know if he was so much muddy but he made me think of mud.
