Ben after he and Sam dumped out a box of cereal a bottle of olive oil and started cramming it into a pot. Sam fled the (very slippery) scene of the crime, but left a trail of chocolate footprints into his bedroom.
These are toys that they threw off the edge of the balcony in a fifteen minute period. Also their toy box.
Sam after pulling the toilet paper off the roll. Does that not look like a lot? There is a fluffy, white pile of T.P. just out of the photo.
This is the footprint an unidentified boy left after fleeing the scene of another olive oil related incident. Repeat offenders. Tsk, tsk.
And these are just some of the things Ben and Sam have been up to the last couple of months since they took on this weighty mantle. The boys want me to let you know that there is a lot of pressure on them to come up with new and terrible things to stay ahead of the curve. They stay up at night thinking of ways to outdo themselves. And sometimes they just stay up at night.
The following is a list of things that they've come up with to keep us on our toes. Some of these are also to further endear them to us ensure that we keep them around. And it works.
- Rubbing Banana guts on the furniture (Sam)
- Pretending to be puppies and licking me (they think this is hilarious)
- Taking off their shoes and throwing them out of the stroller
- Pretending my eyelash curler is a motorcycle
- Pretending that rolls and bread are cars, boats, and planes
- Pretending that chicken nuggets, french-fries, and any small boxes are cars, boats, and planes
- Throwing anything they get their hands on off the balcony
- Taking off their diapers
- Running away from us any time they are free to run away
- Chewing up food and then throwing it on the ground
- Scowling at anyone who comes and says hello (Ben)
- Bringing us fingers, knees, and toes to kiss better
- Moo-ing when they see tractors (this is thanks to the movie Cars)
- Air Guitar. Lots and lots of air guitar
- Pretending spoons, bike pumps, and straws are guitars
- Declaring that things are happy or sad
- Pretend to be Robots (Thanks to The
Incredibles) - Calling me Mommy-Mom (Ben)
Sam

Wow! looks like there is never a dull moment! They are such cute boys.
It's so funny. I can't imagine having two two year olds at once. One was destructive enough. I especially liked the toy box off of the balcony. They are really cute. When do you come back?
welcome to the world of active, healthy, independent children! They are wonderful and your account is a delight to read. Life will not be dull and you can never get b0ored - exhausted, yes - bored, never. I promise when I finally get to visit to give you both some time off - I can always tie them up with my O2 tubing!. I think I am still alert enoguh to handle two year olds (besides they'll be more mnature by then-ha!) love you all, Gma/GGma
"Scowling at anyone who comes and says hello (Ben)" This one you can definitely blame on their father! He did the same thing! Even people we knew... Love to see the boys! Love, Shauna
